Set of two pillowcases, naturally dyed and eco-printed in a terracotta, yellow and purple color scheme. Luxe 100% silk pillowcases for standard size pillows. Natural dye flowers and materials such as marigolds, coreopsis, cosmos, logwood and osage orange shavings were used for a beautiful water color tie dye effect. Over dyed with acacia wood tree bark and marigold flowers for a bright clay color.
Cutch creates shades of rich reddish brown and burnt orange. It is sourced from the Acacia tree by soaking the bark in hot water to create a rich syrupy dye. This has been used in Indian textiles since ancient times.
